春と夏がせめぎ合う皐月の一日、唐津の隆太窯を訪ねました。 窯では、太亀(たき)さんの父上、隆先生がロクロをひき、太亀さんとご子息の健太さんが登り窯を焚き、太亀さんの孫の代助くんがその横を無邪気に走り回り、隆太窯四代の皆様とお目にかかれ、嬉しい限りでした。
お邪魔した時は丁度、窯焚きの最終局面で、窯内には本展に出品するうつわや茶陶の最新作がごうごうと焚かれていました。 僭越ながら、私も薪をくべさせて頂き、阪急のアンダースローの名投手、山田久志さんのシンカーの如く、下手投げで薪を2本投げ入れました。 太亀さん曰く「安田さんが入れた薪が隠し味です」との嬉しくも有り難いお言葉を頂き、感謝の気持ちで一杯でした…。

| Biography Biography | Born in Karatsu in 1965. 1988: Began pottery under the guidance of his father, Takashi Nakazato. 1993: Exhibited in a joint exhibition with Takashi Nakazato and Sanjuro Oku at Kakiden Gallery. 1994: Exhibited at a father-son exhibition at Manyodo Miyuki store. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions throughout Japan. |
