| Introduction Introduction |
The first exhibition of April, a time of vibrant spring, features Taki Nakazato of Karatsu Ryuta Kiln, with whom we have had a long-standing relationship. The photo on the surface shows a Karatsu-style bowl, and this bowl is incredibly versatile. In my home, Taigame's bowls are used all the time. They're great for serving Japanese side dishes, Western side dishes, or even my favorite warm Inaniwa udon noodles. Although not pictured, I also really like and use some of my recent tea bowls; they have a generous style, and the tea tastes delicious in them. The cheerful and kind Taigame-san will be at the gallery every day, so we would be delighted if you could come and see the exhibition. Shop owner Takashi Yasuda |
