游刻・・それは無限の想像力で小さな宇宙を創造する芸術だと思います。
ビショップ先生の游刻には、印の持ち主一人ずつに違う、その人それぞれの「活き活きとした躍動感」のある姿を想像させる圧倒的なパワーがあります。その根底には、先生のお人柄、人の良い面を見ようとなさる生き様、優しさがあるのではないでしょうか?
最初に作って頂いた「竜児」の印は、安美錦の全てである土俵をあしらっています。業師として歴代1位タイの117場所関取を務めた、安美錦らしい、飄々とした字体。涼しい顔をして金星(横綱戦の勝利)を挙げていた記憶がよみがえります。
そして設立4年目の安治川部屋の看板。この文字は大変力強く、そしてあたたかみと「個性」を感じます。相撲部屋を継承ではなく、一から独立して興した安治川親方の覚悟と誇りを感じ取って頂けるのではないでしょうか?
さらに、大関安青錦の印。一目で分かる盤石な相撲姿勢。体を起こさず、低く前に前に出る真摯な相撲を体現しています。安心感もあり、将来性を感じる事も出来ます。
これからもビショップ先生と安治川部屋の冒険・旅は続きます。 印を作りたい、と先生の心を動かせるような力士の育成に、今後とも努めて参ります。 大関の綱取り、本年は是非ご期待下さい! 杉野森絵莉(安治川部屋 女将) |
| Biography Biography | 昭和28年 父と祖母は声楽家、母と祖父は画家という長坂家に生まれる 昭和45年 舞台美術家・朝倉摂氏に師事 昭和48年 桑沢デザイン研究所 インダストリアルデザイン研究科卒業 昭和50年 株式会社婦人画報社入社 平成23年 アシェット婦人画報社（旧婦人画報社）退職 平成24年 株式会社ビショップ設立 多様な業務のほかに游刻家（石アーティスト）としても活動 We collaborate with various parties using hand-carved personal logos. |
