友人のビショップ康史(雅号:長坂大山)さんが、令和三年、新年早々に新宿「柿傳ギャラリー」で「長坂大山 游刻展 Ⅳ」を開催します。
「游刻(ゆうこく)」とは日本の伝統や封建的な型にはまらない、現代的でかつ、ユーモアがあり「物語性」を感じさせる、なんともウイットに富んだ刻印で、世界で唯一、ビショップ康史さんが考案したパーソナルなロゴマークという概念です。
この「游刻作品」の数々に目をやると所有者のことが、気になりだします。 いうまでもなく、たった数ミリから数センチの中に「刻み込まれ、創り出されたアイデア豊富な造形宇宙」から、その依頼者の貌やアクティビティがイメージされ、浮上してくるのです。
ちなみに、何と言っても一番気になるのは、このような刻印世界を緻密に彫り続ける多彩な「游刻(ゆうこく)人」ビショップ康史さんという人物ではないかと思います。

| Biography Biography | Born in 1953 into the Nagasaka family, his father and grandmother were vocalists, and his mother and grandfather were painters. 1970: Studied under stage designer Setsu Asakura. 1973: Graduated from Kuwasawa Design Institute, Department of Industrial Design. 1975: Joined Fujingaho Co., Ltd. 2011: Resigned from Hachette Fujingaho Co., Ltd. (formerly Fujingaho Co., Ltd.) 2012: Bishop Co., Ltd. established. In addition to various other jobs, I also work as a stone artist. We collaborate with various parties using hand-carved personal logos. |

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we would appreciate your understanding and cooperation. 1. A request to our valued customers We have placed alcohol-based hand sanitizer at the entrance of our gallery and the building. We kindly ask that you disinfect your hands upon arrival. Please wear a mask when you go out. Currently, if you have a fever or are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the gallery. If you have visited a doctor or taken medication for fever or a cold within the past two weeks, or if you have traveled abroad, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the gallery. To help reduce crowding in the store, we kindly ask that you visit in small groups whenever possible. We regret to inform you that we will be temporarily suspending our tea service, which we normally offer to our customers, including the gyokuro tea. 2. Our gallery's initiatives ・弊廊内に高機能換気システム「ロスナイ」(三菱電機製)を令和3年1月6日より導入致しました。この新しい換気設備により、15〜20分に一回は、弊廊内の全ての空気が入れ替わる事になります。また、入口ドアを常時開放しております。 We will further strengthen our daily cleaning procedures. We regularly disinfect with alcohol on frequently touched surfaces such as elevator buttons, tables and chairs, entrance door and toilet handles, brushes and pens, even during business hours. If our gallery becomes crowded with many visitors and we determine that it is in a state of "three Cs" (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings), we may ask you to limit entry to our gallery. Our gallery staff will wear masks (but they'll be smiling underneath! ^^), and will thoroughly monitor their temperature and health while serving customers. We sincerely look forward to your visit to our gallery. |
