| Introduction Introduction |
印の歴史は、紀元前5000年頃のメソポタミア。 その頃は、まだ文字がなく、絵や文様でした。 その後、オリエントやヨーロッパ、アジアを経て、中国の殷王朝に伝来します。 皇帝が用いるものを「璽(じ)」といい、官吏や一般には「印」。 漢の時代には、将軍のものを「章」といいました。 こうした印章を制作することを篆刻ということから、工芸美術の世界のひとつのジャンルとして「篆刻(てんこく)」が成立しました。
長坂ビショップ大山氏は独学でその篆刻の世界に挑み、「游刻(ゆうこく)」と名付けました。 独学は天才を生むと言います。 その人となりを会話するところから構想がはじまり、完成したものが手元にくるまで、何がでてくるかわからない賭けを挑む時間です。 そうして、唯一無二の印が出来上がってきます。 私は大きな作品用にお願いしたのが一点目で想像もしない面白いものがでてきました。 驚きました。おもしろすぎて使えておりませんが、大切にしています。

| Biography Biography | 昭和28年 父と祖母は声楽家、母と祖父は画家という長坂家に生まれる 昭和45年 舞台美術家・朝倉摂氏に師事 昭和48年 桑沢デザイン研究所 インダストリアルデザイン研究科卒業 上洛。株式会社ワコール中央研究所人間工学課に勤務 昭和50年 株式会社婦人画報社入社 平成23年 アシェット婦人画報社（旧婦人画報社）退職 平成24年 株式会社ビショップ設立 多様な業務のほかに游刻家（石アーティスト）としても活動 手彫りのパーソナル・ロゴマークで各方面とコラボレーションを展開 |
