The sake cup is the smallest piece I ever make. Because it's small, there's a feeling that the work is completed before I can incorporate everything I want to do, but on the other hand, I think it's possible to solidify my thoughts into the work in a relatively short amount of time. | Biography Biography | Born in 1977, from Chiba Prefecture. Currently working in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. 2001: Completed studies at the Tajimi City Ceramic Design Institute. 2011: Recipient of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Overseas Training Program for Emerging Artists (Boston, USA) 2020 Wako Zekka Exhibition: Superb Craftsmanship of the Reiwa Era Panasonic Shiodome Museum (Tokyo), Oyamazaki Villa Museum (Kyoto), Miyazaki Art Center (Miyazaki) 2021: Received the 2020 Japan Ceramic Society Award. After receiving your numbered ticket, you may leave the gallery until 10:50 AM, 10 minutes before the gallery opens. Please return to the Yasuyo Building by 10:50 AM and line up in order of your ticket number, heading towards the first floor, starting from the entrance door of the Kakiden Gallery on the second basement floor. We would appreciate it if you could maintain social distancing while lining up. ・開廊時刻の11:00になりましたら、整理券の番号順に、弊廊内にご案内致します。 2.
