Introduction
Introduction

Mr. Niisato was born in Chiba in 1977 and has been exhibiting at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition since 2003, gradually gaining attention for his various vessels made of his unique firefly-patterned white porcelain. I was deeply moved by the large deep bowl he exhibited at the Kikuchi Biennale, and I remember that when I arranged white lotus flowers in the large bowl at a tea ceremony held by my tea ceremony club, a wonderful scene was created, and everyone who attended was filled with admiration.
He is still young, but a talented writer with undeniable expressive abilities.
