唐津焼の大御所たる中里隆さんと中里太亀さんの親子が築いた隆太窯は、唐津市内の風光明媚な谷合にあります。 四季折々に美しい姿を見せ、窯内にはせせらぎも流れ、旅人を温かく出迎えてくれる素敵な窯元です。 そして、中里家の皆様のおもてなしにいつも心を打たれます。
今回、ご案内する中里健太さんは、中里太亀さんのご長男で、まっすぐに陶の道を進む、いわゆる隆太窯の三代目です。 昨年4月、弊廊で健太さんの東日本初個展を開催し、お陰様で唐津焼を愛する皆様で活況を呈しました。 ご来廊頂いた皆様に、この場を借りて厚く御礼申し上げます。
健太作品の魅力は、お祖父様やお父様とも違うのだけど、でもお祖父様からの流れをきちんと捉え、ロクロの技もさえわたり、その使い勝手も抜群な事でしょう。 ご案内の通り、隆太窯のロクロは一般的な電動ロクロではなく、足で蹴って回す蹴ロクロです。 かくいう私も下手の横好きなるドラムレッスンにその昔通っていたので、両手と両足を別々に動かすことの何と難しいことか・・・。 蹴ロクロの陶技を拝見する度にすごいなぁと感じ入ります。
ゴールデンウィークの直前で新宿の街も浮き立つ頃に開催する本展では、最新作のうつわや茶陶の作品を発表いたします。 是非お手に取り、前途洋々たる若き陶工に厳しきご指導を頂ければ幸いです。
さて、この拙稿を認めている10日後に、私は隆太窯に向かいます。 健太さんと再会できる事が今から楽しみでなりません。

| Biography Biography | Born in Karatsu in 1993. 2015: Became a disciple of his father, Taiki Nakazato. 2019: Three Generations of Family Exhibition at Ginza Shinkobijutsu Manyodo In 2021, I held my first solo exhibition at Gallery Tominaga in Fukuoka, and another solo exhibition at Yoyokaku in Karatsu. As a dinner party to celebrate the opening of PROPOSTA di CASA in Fukuoka La Maison de la Nature Goh produced the tableware for the course meals served by Takeshi Fukuyama.
