肌寒さがまだ残る弥生月の一日、備前に向かいました。 備前の地を踏んだのは何年ぶりでしょう。 満面の笑みの晃一朗さんと再会を祝し、ご馳走になった香り高き蕎麦をたぐりながら、昨今の作陶からSDGsまで色んな話に花が咲きました。 心豊かな晃一朗さんとお話ししていると、此方まで気分が浮き立ちます。 工房では、ご一家の可愛い愛犬と戯れつつ、彼が自ら点ててくれた美味しいお茶を頂きました。 もちろん頂いた茶碗は大好きな晃一朗盌。旅の疲れもどこかへ飛んでしまう瞬間ですね。
本展のご案内状用にとお送り頂いた一盌は、晃一朗さんらしい清新な造形に、灰のかぶった景色も美しい逸品でした。 八日間という長い時間、烈火で焚かれた本盌は、よく焼き締まり、掌でぐるりと回しながら、抹茶の緑がさぞ映えるだろうと感じた次第です。 そして、弊廊で三回目となる本展では、この様な茶陶を中心に最新作40点を発表致します。 この拙筆を書いている最中も窯焚きの只中との事で、ご成功をお祈りするばかりです。 どうぞ皆様のご来廊をお待ち申し上げております。
末尾になりますが、2022年度(令和4年度)の日本陶磁協会賞のご受賞、本当におめでとうございました。 心よりお祝いを申し上げます。私も自分の事以上にとても嬉しく、これまでの晃一朗さんのご努力に敬意を表し、ますますの弥栄を願って止みません。

| Biography Biography | Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Sculpture in 1996. 1998: Moved to the United States and studied under Jeff Japiro, a ceramic artist residing in New York. In 2000, after returning to Japan, he studied under his father, Jun Isezaki. 2009: Encouragement Award at the 26th Tabe Museum of Art Exhibition of Art in the Art of the Tea Ceremony (2012, 2016) 2010: 53rd Japan Traditional Crafts Chugoku Branch Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Award 2014: 15th Fukutake Cultural Encouragement Award 2020 Koichiro Isezaki Exhibition: Coming (LIXIL Gallery, Tokyo) 令和5年 2022年度 日本陶磁協会賞 |
