| Introduction Introduction |
It's a life in the mountains surrounded by nature. Looking at the trees in the garden, The way each branch bends and each leaf is attached seems to be there out of necessity. I create these pieces with the hope of making tableware that can be used in everyday life. This is my second exhibition at Kakiden Gallery. I would be delighted if you could come and see it.
Risa Saito Kaori
What comes to mind when you think of Okayama Prefecture?
Ms. Ri studied under Yuuhou Kaneshige , a master craftsman of Bizen ware, and was an active member of Toukoubou Yuu , which was founded by Mr. Yuuhou.
The husband creates a wide range of elegant works, primarily in pottery, from unglazed to glazed ceramics, while his wife creates charming pieces, mainly in porcelain, using both underglaze blue and overglaze enamel.
