安洞雅彦といえば豆向付、豆向付といえば安洞雅彦、と作家のシグネチャーになってきた感のある小さな向付。制作を始めてから約12年、意匠は589種まで増えた。そこまで読んで、疑問が湧きはしないだろうか。自らの発想の趣くままにつくるのであれば、約600種に12年も要することはないだろうにと。これら豆向付はすべて、本歌である桃山時代のオリジナルをはっきり特定できる、探究と再創造の営みから生まれてきたもの。能などの伝統芸能が、「型」を完全に消化した先に、身一つの個人では到達し得ない自由を見出すように、安洞は桃山の型に己を埋めてきた。窯址を見つめる考古学者のように冷静な眼と、400年前の陶工を憑依させるがごとき没入の精神、という両輪が噛み合うことで、安洞の孤独な疾走は、ますますその速度を増している。 橋本麻里(小田原文化財団 甘橘山美術館準備室 室長、金沢工業大学 客員教授) |
| Biography Biography | ▶︎ 安洞雅彦 Ando Masahiko Born in 1973 in Nagoya to a family of antique dealers. 2002: Began learning pottery on my own. In 2004, the workshop was moved to Jinya, Seto City. In 2007, the workshop was moved to Hatsuhara-cho, Tajimi City. 2009: Built a wood-fired oven. Solo exhibition in Shanghai in 2019 ▶︎ 安藤友紀 Ando Yuki Born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Seto Ceramics High School, Ceramics Department in 1997.
