| Introduction Introduction |
藤笠砂都子さんは、羽衣が風に舞い様々にかたちを変えるような、そんな流動感溢れるダイナミックな作品で知られる、いま最も注目の若手陶芸家です。 The artwork expands on the imagery by connecting the appearance of nature with human emotions, primarily focusing on the vitality inherent in nature, such as the blowing wind, flowing water, birds flying in the sky, and the beautiful lines of plants. His work is unique, incorporating both the "internal form" of ceramics and the "space-conscious form" of sculpture, and his pieces reflect a solid understanding of design theory and a rich sensibility as a Japanese person. In 2010, he won the Hagi Grand Prize at the "Contemporary Ceramics Hagi Grand Prize Exhibition 2010." His talent is evident from his ceramic career. The works on display in this exhibition are themed around the beauty and vitality of nature (especially plants), and will feature over 30 outstanding pieces, including large-scale works. 森孝一(美術評論家・日本陶磁協会事務局長) |
