| Introduction Introduction |
Three ceramic artists from different countries—Japan, the United States, and France—will be holding a joint exhibition, each working on the common theme of "tea bowls." To use a metaphor of Japanese cuisine, if we were to compare the tea bowls to Japanese food, I hope you will enjoy the differences in the materials, preparation, and presentation of the food by three potters of roughly the same generation but from different backgrounds. In addition to tea bowls, this unique exhibition by three artists will also feature a variety of objects and calligraphy pieces. We would be delighted if you could come and visit.
