| Biography Biography | Born in 1937 While I was making a 1/80 scale model of the East Pagoda of Yakushiji Temple, I received advice from the late Abbot Hashimoto Gyoin of Yakushiji Temple, which led me to pursue the path of tea ceremony utensils, and that's how I got to where I am today. In 1987, when Empress Michiko visited the prefecture, a cherry blossom incense box was presented to her. 1998: Received the Nara Cultural Merit Award. Currently, he is an advisor to the Nara Prefectural Craft Association. |
