| Biography Biography | Born in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture in 1953. 1983 Completed Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts 1995 Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition <Recipient of the Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition Award> Kiminori Oota Pottery Exhibition (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi), followed by annual solo exhibitions in various locations. 2002: Underglaze Blue Porcelain Open Call Exhibition <Grand Prize Winner> 2005: 1st Kikuchi Biennale <Encouragement Award Winner> 2010 Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition <Awarded the Aichi Prefectural Governor's Prize> She submits her work to public exhibitions such as traditional craft exhibitions every year, and has been selected and won awards. Currently, Professor at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, Regular Member of the Japan Crafts Association, and Standing Committee Member of the Tokai Branch of the Japan Crafts Association. |
