Introduction
Introduction

Kouichi Uwataki creates vibrant colored porcelain with continuous patterns of blue and purple. This will be his second solo exhibition for us, and he said he wanted to "challenge himself with new forms," so he will be presenting 80 recent works, including large and small vases, flower vases, tableware, and water pitchers, all with sharper designs.
The new form, the translucent texture, the beautiful continuous pattern—I'm really looking forward to seeing how these elements balance out. Koichi, you're the same generation as me. I would be grateful for your feedback.
