The Japan Ceramic Art Association has been newly established as a general incorporated association.
The members of this selected exhibition are the core members who will be newly developing this corporate structure. Each piece is unique, reflecting different regions, generations, and approaches in their creation. We hope you enjoy viewing them.

| Biography Biography | ▶ Hajime Isezaki Isezaki So Born in 1968 as the third son of Mitsuru Isezaki. 1987: Graduated from Okayama Prefectural Okayama Technical High School, Department of Design. In 2004, he was certified as a full member of the Japan Crafts Association. 2007: Okayama Prefectural Board of Education Superintendent's Award 2013: 56th Japan Traditional Crafts Chugoku Branch Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Award 2014 2nd Ceramics Exhibition Encouragement Award 2018: 46th Traditional Crafts Ceramics Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Award ▶ Norikatsu Sato Sato Norikatsu Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1974. 2001: Completed Master's Program in Ceramics, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Built a kiln in Sagamihara City in 2003. 2006: Appointed as an assistant in the Ceramics Research Laboratory at Tokyo University of the Arts (until March 2008) 2013 1st Ceramics Exhibition Encouragement Award 2014 Contemporary Ceramics: Hagi Grand Prize Exhibition III, Hagi Grand Prize 2018 Mino Ceramic Tea Bowl Exhibition: Silver Prize ▶ Hiroko Takagi Takagi Hiroko 1993: Completed graduate studies in Ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1995, exhibited at the "Saijokai" pottery exhibition at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. Solo exhibition at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, 2006 2025: MOA Museum of Art Award, 53rd Traditional Crafts Ceramics Division Exhibition ▶ Koji Tada Tada Yukifumi Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture in 1973. 2002: Completed Kutani Ware Technical Training Course In 2010, he was certified as a full member of the Japan Crafts Association. 2015: 62nd Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Newcomer Award 2018 5th Ceramics Exhibition Takashimaya Award In 2022, I received the Ishikawa Prefecture Cultural Encouragement Award from Ishikawa Prefecture. The 50th Traditional Crafts Ceramics Exhibition, 50th Anniversary Grand Prize ▶ Naofumi Nishimoto Nishimoto Naofumi Born in 1965 as the third son of ceramic artist Eisen Nishimoto. 1983: Osaka University of Arts, Faculty of Arts, Department of Crafts, Ceramics Major 1988: First entry into the Nitten Exhibition, first acceptance, and continued to be selected thereafter. 2006: Tabe Museum of Art Grand Prize, "Exhibition of Art in the Art of the Tea Ceremony," Excellence Award Recipient of the Medal of Honor with Dark Blue Ribbon 2010 Japan Contemporary Craft Art Exhibition, Shugoro Hasuda Award 2014 1st Reorganization Shin Nitten Special Selection ▶ Michitaka Fukuno Fukuno Michitaka Born in 1970 in Iwatsuki City, Saitama Prefecture. 1999: Encouragement Award at the Ibaraki Prefecture Art Festival Exhibition 2005: Selected for the 1st Kikuchi Biennale. 2009: Ibaraki Craft Association 80th Anniversary Exhibition, Ibaraki Craft Association 80th Anniversary Award 2010: Honorable Mention at the Issuikai Ceramics Department Exhibition 2012: 40th Anniversary Award at the Traditional Crafts Ceramics Division Exhibition 2014: 2nd Toubi Exhibition, Sapporo Interior Aqua Award ▶ Aya Honda Honda Aya Born in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture in 1977. 2003: Completed graduate studies in ceramics at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts.
