| Biography Biography | Born in 1961 in Shimotsuke City, Tochigi Prefecture. From 1988 to 2010, I wrote numerous titles for films, stage plays, television dramas, magazines, photo books, CD jackets, and more. Exhibition held at "Galerie Espace Art&Patrimoine," attached to the Paris Municipal Museum "CMP," in 1993 (Heisei 5). Collection of the Quebec Museum of Civilization, Canada From 1994 to 2010, I regularly held calligraphy exhibitions at the "Yu Gallery" in Akasaka. In 2000, a documentary titled "The World of Rogen Ebihara " was produced for the TBS network. Published in ANA (All Nippon Airways) magazine, April and October 2008, in the article "Learning from the Past to Create the New: Tracing the Origins of Typefaces." Appeared in a promotional video for Nippon Oil Corporation (ENEOS). In 2010, two of his works were acquired by the Japanese Embassy of Italy. In 2011, the artwork "Yo" was acquired by Daming Temple in Yangzhou, China. Solo exhibition at Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, 2012 Artwork exhibited at Daxingshan Temple (Xi'an, China) for 3 months. Appointed as a Cultural Exchange Ambassador by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Three of his works are housed in the Jiangxi Provincial History Museum (China). I will be giving calligraphy lectures and holding calligraphy workshops at the University of Sheffield (UK). (50th Anniversary Event of Japanese Studies) In 2013, I plan to participate in cultural activities related to calligraphy in Italy as a cultural exchange ambassador (at the University of Milan and the University of Rome). |
