| Introduction Introduction |
The Japan Ceramic Society presents the Japan Ceramic Society Award, which recognizes the most outstanding artist based on their activities during the year, and the Japan Ceramic Society Gold Award, which recognizes artists who have made a significant contribution to the Japanese ceramics world, taking into account their past activities and achievements.
Works related to flowers by past award-winning artists will be gathered together, with the addition of Ryotaro Kato and Tozan Miyanaga III, who received awards in 2023.
Additionally, on February 3rd, we will be holding a "Tea and Sake Enjoyment Event" featuring pottery by the award-winning artists. For seven days, the works of current Ceramic Society Award-winning artists and works by deceased artists will be displayed together. We look forward to your visit and participation.

| special tea party Tea Party | ▶ A gathering to enjoy tea and sake vessels; Host: Ryotaro Kato A commemorative tea ceremony for this exhibition, "An Enjoyment of Tea and Sake Vessels," will be held in the tea room of Shinjuku Kakiden, located above the Kakiden Gallery. We will be hosting a tea ceremony with Ryotaro Kato, recipient of the 2023 Japan Ceramic Society Award, as the host, where we will enjoy tea served in tea bowls made by past Japan Ceramic Society Award-winning artists. Beginners who have never participated in a tea ceremony before are more than welcome, so please feel free to enjoy a cup of tea and sake. We look forward to receiving your applications. Thank you very much. • Date and Time: Monday, February 3rd, seating times: 11:00, 12:30, 14:00 * Please gather at the reception/donation area (7th floor) 15 minutes before your seating time. ・Chairman: Ryotaro Kato (Mushakoji Senke style) • Location: Shinjuku Kyo-kaiseki Kakiden (Yasuyo Building, 3-37-11 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) Reception and donations: An'yo Hall (7th floor) ↓ Tea ceremony venue "Zangetsutei (9th floor)" ↓ Drinking party at "Kokon Salon (6th floor)" • Dim Sum: The meal consists of a small appetizer, a tiered bento box filled with seasonal vegetables, a simmered dish, rice, and pickles.
