| Introduction Introduction |
Thank you for your support throughout 2024. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has visited our gallery, everyone who has viewed our website or humble Instagram, everyone who has made a purchase, the artists who have created wonderful works, the professors who have guided us, and all the business partners who support our gallery. Thanks to everyone's support and guidance, we were able to safely welcome the New Year of the Year of the Snake. I am filled with gratitude.
And our gallery will kick off the new year with our traditional New Year's sale exhibition. This year, we have chosen "Shoju Chitose-iro" by up-and-coming metalwork artist Yurina Hirao as our main image. This piece is a metalwork piece measuring 25 cm in length, a small yet dignified object adorned with pine and Ardisia crenata, motifs typical of the New Year. As you know, the green of the pine tree is considered a symbol of longevity and good fortune, and Ardisia japonica, also known as "Juryo," is cherished as a lucky charm due to its red berries. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Kousuke Katou , a fellow metalwork artist, for introducing me to Mr. Hirao.
In addition to this work, we also have exquisite pieces by artists who have worked with us at our gallery. All items are offered at a 10% discount off the listed price.I will do so. I apologize for bothering you during this busy time of year, but I would be grateful if you could take a look at it.
As we are both inexperienced shop owners and our gallery, we would greatly appreciate your frank and critical guidance this year as well. With all due respect, this year too, we aim to further fuse crafts and the tea ceremony, and we intend to strive to provide a place in Shinjuku where adults can enjoy a leisurely stroll.
I sincerely hope that 2025 will be a year filled with happiness for all of you.
