まだ涼しかった水無月の一日、西に向かいました。 備前焼の金重周作さんと陽作さんのご兄弟を訪ねるためです。 岡山空港で車を拝借し、一路、備前市伊部へ、アクセルペダルを踏み込みました。 急な土砂降りの中、笑顔で出迎えてくださったお二人と再会を祝し、｢安田さん、こちらへ｣と美しい庭にいざなわれると、なんとも可憐なささゆりが出迎えてくれました。 ｢一輪だけ咲いてくれました｣と、はにかむ周作さん。 ささゆりを臨む縁側で、奥様お手製の美味しい水無月を頂き、彼らの茶盌で一服頂戴して、心も緩み、そして、心も和みました。
陶工房 斿 (旧・斿工房)は、備前焼の名工、金重有邦さんのご子息である周作さん陽作さんご兄弟と、お弟子の齋藤理さんの三人で、12年前に立ち上げられた備前焼の工房です。昨年、齋藤さんは、はれて独立され、現在は、ご兄弟お二人で、仲睦まじく制作に勤しまれています。
さて、早いもので、弊廊で5回目となる本展では、使い心地抜群な最新作の食のうつわや、昨今ますます風格をました茶碗などの茶陶を発表致します。 さらに、念願だった彼らの茶会も弊廊上の新宿柿傳の茶室で、8月25日(金)に開催いたします。 かつて水屋をご一緒させて頂いた事もあるのですが、お二人の見事な立ち居振る舞いとその心配りに感じ入りました。 茶の湯の道をまっすぐに、そして確実に歩まれているお二人です。 どうぞご参会いただければと存じます。
残暑も和らいで欲しい処暑の候ですが、どうぞ金重兄弟に忌憚のないご指導を頂ければ嬉しいです。
