| Biography Biography | Born in Nagoya in 1966, raised in Tokyo. He studied the history of modern crafts at Waseda University, but did not become an art critic. He chose the path of a writer. In addition to studying under Ryoji Koie, He also absorbed contemporary art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. After returning to Japan, he held his first solo exhibition at Keio Department Store, followed by exhibitions at Ginza Mitsukoshi, Matsuzakaya Main Store, and others. At department store art galleries, Ippodo Salon, and other galleries in various locations. We hold 5-6 exhibitions per year. He presents a wide variety of works, from contemporary ceramics to tea ceremony pottery. In 2001, the Tsuchiwarai Kiln was established in Machida City, Tokyo, and continues to operate there to this day. |
