Introduction

You Shakunaga 's solo exhibition will be held for the first time in three years. She is the eldest daughter of Yukio Shakunaga , a leading figure in Etchu Seto, a renowned pottery kiln in Toyama Prefecture, and works diligently alongside her father.
Following the success of her previous exhibition, which featured vases inspired by bamboo baskets, she seems to have taken this project to the extreme this time. The large and small ceramic baskets are sure to attract attention, whether used as flower vases in a tokonoma alcove or as single-flower vases on a dining table. Please take a look.

Biography
Biography		Born in 1976 in Kamisue, Tateyama-machi, Nakaniikawa-gun, Toyama Prefecture.
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Advanced Technical School for Ceramics in 1996.
Currently, and going forward, I am creating pottery at the Shōraku Kiln in Etchū Seto.
