一佐衛門先生は、二十代でニューヨークに旅立たれ、彼の地でジュエリーデザイナーとして成功を収めた訳ですが、渡米から十年後に帰国。以後、ジュエリーデザイナーから転身され、陶芸の道を歩んできました。
今は、織部の緑釉に取り組むことが一番、楽しいと語る一佐衛門先生。今回は、その織部と瀬戸黒という地元美濃での代表的な焼き物を出品致します。
先日、岐阜県多治見市にある一佐衛門工房を訪ねましたが、陶器工場の空き地に「ゆめみる織部工房群」という広大なアトリエ群を全て自作され、未来の美濃のためにと、色々と夢が広がっているようです。茶陶を中心とした弊廊、初個展。どうか皆様のご批評を頂ければ幸いです。

Biography
Biography		昭和28年　岐阜県多治見市、五代目加藤幸兵衛の孫として土を生業とする家に生れる
昭和51年　武蔵野美術大学工芸工業学科 卒業
昭和52年　日本陶磁器デザインコンペティション 金賞受賞
昭和55年　渡米(ニューヨーク)マンハッタンにスタジオを持ちアートジュエリーをはじめる
　　　　　　 パリ秋冬コレクション(フランス)のアクセサリーを制作
　　　　　　 ロレアルなどの有名化粧品メーカーのCM用ジュエリーを制作
　　　　　　 ニューヨーク市立美術館に作品三点が展示される
平成 2 年　帰国。陶芸を再びはじめ、西洋文化と東洋の美の融合を模索する
　　　　　　 伯父、重要無形文化財、故 加藤卓男氏より指導を受ける
平成11年　京都銀閣寺にて個展、有馬頼底管長より、号「一佐衛門」を命名される
平成17年　茶道、遠州流家元、小堀宗実氏の門下となり、指導を受ける
平成23年　伊勢神宮に茶碗献納する
　　　　　　 毎年各地にて個展開催（髙島屋東京店、大阪店、名古屋松坂屋など）
