I've named the technique I've been working on for many years "ceramic watercolor." By applying a glaze after coloring and firing at high temperatures, it's possible to create a soft, watercolor-like expression. I intend to further develop this technique in the future. Rokurou Naitou |
| Biography Biography | Born in Tokyo in 1950. 1976: Completed graduate studies in ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1980, I moved from Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture to Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Independent artist. Has held numerous solo exhibitions (at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Umeda Hankyu, Wako, Kando-ri, Fujinoya, etc.). |
