シャープで美しい流線を生む陶芸作家・松村 淳。 This exhibition, my first solo show at Kakiden Gallery, will feature approximately 30 of my latest works, including tea ceremony utensils and flower vases.
The title of this exhibition, "adaptation," refers to the change in traits that adapt to the environment, a concept in the field of biology that Matsumura majored in during his student days in the United States. How will the futuristic designs created by this author, who has been familiar with science fiction since childhood, evolve in today's world of diverse values?
We hope you will enjoy seeing the current work of this ever-evolving artist.

| Biography Biography | Born in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture in 1986. Graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2010. In 2015, completed the Tajimi City Ceramic Design Institute program and was selected for the "Meyer x Shigaraki Grand Prize: The Present State of Japanese Ceramics - Tradition and Innovation" competition. 2016: Selected for the 3rd Kanazawa World Craft Triennale. Completed training at Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Workshop in 2018. 2021: Selected for the Paramita Ceramics Grand Prize Exhibition, Bronze Prize (Ceramic Design Studio Category) at the 12th International Ceramics Exhibition Mino. |
