| Introduction Introduction |
This exhibition, which began in 2008, is now in its third year. It is an exchange exhibition involving Japan, South Korea, and this time, China. It is an attempt to explore the possibilities of painting in each country by exchanging awareness and information about painting traditions in each country, and by learning about the similarities and differences between them. Based on our individual work, we will consider the development of traditional painting in the contemporary world, exploring its place in the modern era and what it can offer. We will continue to exchange ideas and use this opportunity to re-examine our own expressions from a broader perspective. |
