| Introduction Introduction |
Tamba Tachikui ware in Hyogo Prefecture is one of the six ancient kilns, where the kiln fires have been burning continuously since ancient times. We have organized an exhibition featuring two promising young artists who are diligently working in the Tanba Tachikui ware pottery region. I first met the two of them two years ago at a group exhibition of Tamba ware at our gallery. Since then, I have been drawn to the works you both create and your kind and strong-willed personalities. This is the first joint exhibition in Japan by two close friends. We hope you will enjoy seeing what Tanba is like "now."
