Thanks to all of you, our gallery was able to celebrate its 10th anniversary in April, having moved from the Daian Building across the street to its current location.

Although our gallery still has many shortcomings, we are deeply grateful to our customers, the artists who create wonderful works for us, and our business partners for helping us come this far. Thank you very much.

Now, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of our relocation, as the first in a series of thank-you events, we will be holding a "Warehouse Clearance Sale" featuring tableware fired at the Tsunohazu kiln, which our gallery used to operate.

Tsunohazu was the old name for this area, and the name Tsunohazu definitely existed here until the town name changed to the current Shinjuku in 1973.

My late parents built a kiln in the Daian Building, and from 1980 to 1990, we were fortunate enough to have exhibitions of Tsunohazu kiln pottery held at Shinjuku Mitsukoshi and Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi.

Although Tsunohazu Kiln has since closed, this time, as a warehouse sale of tableware, we will be selling Shinjuku ware fired at Tsunohazu Kiln at special 10th-anniversary prices (1,000 yen, 2,000 yen, 3,000 yen, etc., including tax per piece).

Looking ahead to the next decade, we too will strive to further improve ourselves so that adults can enjoy leisurely detours in Shinjuku.

As both I and Kakiden Gallery are still inexperienced, we would be grateful for your continued strict guidance.
