松原賢さんと初めて出会ったのは今から九年前。 残念ながら昨年四月にお隠れになった林屋晴三先生の 「茶の湯同好会茶会」における柿傳の水屋でした。 以来、林屋先生と賢さんの深いご交流がはじまり、私もそれに応じて、親しくお付き合いをさせて頂くようになりました。
これまで弊廊では、彼の制作テーマである「音」に関する抽象画や、林屋先生の鶴の一声による「冨嶽図」を発表して参りました。 二年ぶりとなる本展では、近年手がけている抽象画の「景」と最新作の「水景」を発表致します。 「景」は水が創り出す象形のダイナミズムを表現し、「水景」は湖水の水面に現る大気の響きを表現しているとの事。 私は賢作品の魅力は作品にたちこめるそこはかとない「静けさ」だと感じています。 確かな筆致で描かれる作品は、力強さと儚さが同居しており、それ故の浮遊感が私が感じる所の「静けさ」になっているとも思います。
今展に際し、賢さんは人生初の席主を務める茶会も開催致します。 この茶会では、先日描き終えた「空海図」の障壁を初お披露目致します。 私もこの画像を拝見しましたが、圧倒的な迫力で強く共感を頂きました。 お忙しい中、恐縮ですが、是非、ご参会を頂ければ幸いです。
さらに、賢さんは林屋先生との出会いから始まった茶席でのお手伝いの軌跡を一冊にまとめ、「茶席より 2010-2017」を上梓される事になりました。 どうかこちらもご高覧を頂ければ幸いです。
