今さんは、陶芸界の巨星、辻清明氏の門を叩き、故郷の長岡に窯を築いて早38年になるベテラン陶芸家です。 彼がつくる信楽はとても潔く、今年67歳になられますが、若々しさと力強さが感じられます。
作陶の傍ら茶道にも勤しみ、長岡市が立ち上げた超流派の「長岡市茶道文化協会」にも携わっていらっしゃいます。 陶芸家の方で茶道を真摯に実践されるとは、素晴らしいですね。
さて、弊廊で三年振りとなる本展では、近作の茶陶や食器を発表致します。 会期中は、今さんが会場で、皆様に薄茶一服をふるまい、12日(土)には柿傳の茶室「残月」にて、自ら席主を務める茶会も開催します。どうぞご高覧頂ければ嬉しいです。
