桜の花の薄紅色は、妖艶なるが故にどこか儚(はかな)い。その散華の精神は、日本人がこよなく愛し、慈しんできた美学でもある。 今展のサブタイトル「桜の下のロンド(輪舞曲)」とは、桜の下で踊る若い男女の姿をイメージした、星野友幸のインスタレーションである。 陰刻や面取り、片切彫りなど様々な技法で表現された衣装や顔立ち。白い磁土にピンクを練り込んだ花器は女性、グレーの磁土に白を練り込んだ花器は男性、と言うだけでなく、その練り込みの技法により、土が勢いよく伸びる様は、まさに、桜の下で踊る男女の浮き立つ心情までも表現している。 星野作品の魅力は、何といっても螺旋(らせん)に伸びる力強いフォルムと、余白と模様の見事なバランスであるが、今展の作品からは、表面的なものだけでなく、内面的なものへの深化の様が見られる。そんな魅力溢れる花器、茶器、食器を中心に80点ほどの作品が出品される。 Koichi Mori (Art critic, Standing Director of the Japan Ceramic Society) |
| Biography Biography | Born in 1976 in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. 平成11年 横浜市立大学商学部卒業 株式会社パソナ入社（平成16年3月退職） In 2005, he completed the Molding Department at Kyoto Prefectural Advanced Technical School for Ceramics, and studied under Yuichi Ikai. Established in 2007 in Kokubunji City, Tokyo. 平成22年 日本伝統工芸展入選（同 24年、26年、27年） 平成25年 日本工芸会正会員に認定 第53回 東日本伝統工芸展 三越伊勢丹賞 60th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Encouragement Award 5th Kikuchi Biennale Encouragement Award Special Prize and Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Ceramic Art Prize at the 22nd Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition 1st Toubi Exhibition: Excellence Award & Sapporo Interior Aqua Award |
