This year, too, you will be able to feel Professor Katsuo's enthusiasm for the year at the exhibition held at the beginning of the year. | Biography Biography | Born in 1971 in Gojozaka, Kyoto. From the age of ten, he participated in the construction of kilns such as the Shigaraki climbing kiln of his father, the second-generation Seiryudo, and began firing kilns and making pottery. In 1993, he studied under Professor Tansai Kato and Professor Takushi Hayashiya. In 1997, I held a joint exhibition with Mr. Tansai Kato (at our gallery). Since then, solo exhibitions have been held in various locations throughout Japan. In 2015, a tea bowl was dedicated to the Nikko Toshogu Shrine during its 400th anniversary grand festival. |
