Biography
Ichinomiya Yu:
Born in Tokyo in 1936.
1970: Kiln built in Kurume City, Tokyo.
In 1971, I went to Okinawa to study Nanban ware.
Kiln built in Chinen Village, Okinawa Prefecture in 1997 (Heisei 9).
Since 1980, exhibitions of Okinawan Nanban ware pottery have been held throughout Japan.

Ichinomiya (present):
Born in Okinawa in 1977.
In 1998, I began seriously studying pottery under my father's guidance.
Completed training in lacquerware at the Okinawa Prefectural Craft Guidance Center in 2001.
 In the same year, he began producing ceramic lacquerware (ceramic lacquer).

DMWe accept advance reservations for the works displayed on this website before the exhibition begins. We will contact you approximately 20 days before the first day of the exhibition.DMWe ship the items and upload information to this website at almost the same time.
For those who are unable to visit our gallery in person, we are happy to accept orders by phone or email.
