中村康平の茶碗造り
造形的な作風で知られている中村康平さんは近年、桃山時代以来日本陶芸の伝統 的な所産の一つとなった茶の湯の茶碗に取組み、挑んでいる。
長次郎の無作為、本阿弥光悦の数奇の作為、この二人の大先達の成した流れをう けて、茶の湯の茶碗はおよそ四百年さまざまに展開してきた。そしていま、中村康 平さんが何故に茶碗の造形に執心するに至ったのか、深く語らってはいないが、と にかくいま彼は茶碗造りに燃えている。どこまで心を自由にして、虚心に立向かえ るかが勝負どころだと思いつつ、私はじいっと見守っているところである。

Biography
Biography		Born in Kanazawa City in 1948 as the third son of Umeyama Nakamura. Graduated from the Sculpture Department of Tama Art University.
