Our group is called Irodori-no-kai. We envisioned ourselves as a gathering of colorful flowers—bright, elegant, and wild—but before we knew it, 50 years had passed since our founding. Time has flown by, but we remain bright, cheerful, and as lively as a flower garden. Some flowers have withered over the years, but we hope to continue supporting each other and blooming freely and generously. I am incredibly happy, grateful, and honored to be able to bloom as one of these flowers. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have supported Irodori-no-kai over the years.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has helped make the Aya-no-kai event possible. Our greatest joy this time is being able to introduce you to our representative, Taketoen. A pure and charming teacher, 92 years old, who lived through the Taisho and Showa eras and embodied the modern girl. There would be nothing more delightful than being able to convey to you the happiness of having had countless moments with him. Furthermore, we are excited that you will be able to feel the long years spent with our senior students and our teacher through Kamakura carving in each and every piece, and see the encounters and beauty of life.
