| Introduction Introduction |
Agnes Huss is a ceramic artist born in Hungary, but currently lives in Japan, and her style is unique. I first encountered her work when it won the TOKI Oribe Excellence Award at the 7th Contemporary Tea Ceremony Ceramics Exhibition in Toki City in 2014, and I was immediately drawn to the unique style of her expression. Two years later, she won the TOKI Oribe Encouragement Award at the same exhibition, demonstrating that Ms. Fuss had established a unique style while fully utilizing her meticulous technique. I hope she will further free her mind and pursue her own unique style of artistic expression. Seizo Hayashiya |
