昨年12月5日あまりにも突然に逝ってしまいました。やきものが好きで、土を探し釉石を探し独自の発想を実践しながら、やきものの本源を求め続けた一生は途上であったにせよ、楽しく幸せな人生だったと思います。越後妻有の土と釉石で白化粧に透明感をもたせ焼き上がったのが、告別式の前夜に窯出しされた「雪螢碗」、最後の作品です。是非御高覧頂きたいと思います。
吉田明という、やきもの作りがいたのだと皆さんの胸の中にとどめて頂けましたら・・・
長い間ありがとうございました。感謝致します。
