The final exhibition of the Heisei Year of the Sheep at Kakiden Gallery will be a stylish exhibition of abstract paintings, perfect as Christmas presents.

The artist who created these wonderfully gentle, joyful, and warm paintings is a 50-year-old painter named Fumio Tsuji , the son of the late Seimei Tsuji , a name familiar to anyone who loves pottery.

 

Born to renowned parents, she apparently had many doubts and uncertainties in the past, but as time has passed, she now diligently paints abstract art like this almost every day.

"I've always loved lots of colors, and I've been drawing since my twenties. Thanks to my parents, my aesthetic sense was honed, and that's how I am who I am today," says Fumio with a gentle smile.

Biography
Biography		Seimei Tsuji was born in Tokyo in 1965, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyo.
1985: Trained at Tsuji Pottery Studio in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture.
Graduated from Ishikawa Prefecture Kutani Ware Technical Training Institute in 1992 (Heisei 4).
1996-1998: Numerous group exhibitions held in Karuizawa, Ginza Komatsu Store, Aoyama, and other locations.
In 1998, he held the "Traveling Tea Bowl Exhibition" in Kyoto, Shibuya, and other locations, and has since devoted himself to painting.
2013 "Colors of Unconsciousness (Dream)" Exhibition (Hakone Nanohana)
