高橋芳宣さんは、世界遺産「富岡製糸場」近くの風光明媚な群馬県甘楽町(かんらまち)で作陶を続ける、柿傳ギャラリーでは昔からお世話になっている陶芸家です。 芳宣さんは、用の器創りを最も大切としており、三年振りとなる今回の個展は「向付(むこうづけ)展」と題し、最新作の向付や、食器、酒器、花入などを発表します。
向付とは、お茶事の懐石料理で、まず最初に出される刺身等を盛りつける食器です。 四椀というご飯と汁が盛られた椀の奥側・向こう側に置くので、向付という呼び名がついたそうで、京懐石 柿傳でも、 芳宣さんの向付を永く愛用しています。
美食の秋の食卓を彩る芳宣さんのうつわ。 一枚一枚、丁寧に絵付けされた色絵、染付、赤絵などの最新作を発表しますので、お手に取りご批評頂ければ幸いです。
