After shaping on the potter's wheel, Ohno diligently shaves the clay, Sudo earnestly presses his mark, and Sawada carefully applies the colors. Three of the most promising young artists from Kasama will be performing together for the first time at the Kakiden Gallery. Please come and see and touch it at the venue! I think you'll experience a new sensation.

| Biography Biography | □ Hayato Sawada Born in 1978 in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Selected for the 18th Japan Ceramics Exhibition and the 52nd Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 2005. 2012, 40th Traditional Crafts Ceramics Exhibition, Japan Crafts Association Award 2013 5th Kikuchi Biennale Encouragement Award □ Satoshi Sutou Born in 1976 in Shimodate City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Selected for the 5th Kikuchi Biennale in 2013. Selected for the 10th International Ceramics Festival Mino in 2014. 2015: Encouragement Award at the 55th East Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, Excellence Award at the 3rd Ceramic Art Exhibition. □ Yoshinori Oono Born in 1978 in Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture. 2013: Ibaraki Prefecture Art Festival Art Exhibition - Excellence Award, 60th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition - Selected Work 2014: 54th East Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, East Japan Branch Chief's Award |

| notice Notice | ■Please enjoy this cold matcha. This year, as in previous years, we will be serving chilled matcha tea, a tradition at the Kakiden Gallery during the month of August. During the event, we will be offering cold matcha tea brewed with ice water and "Hagi no Kaori," candied summer orange peel sourced from Hagi. Of course, there is no membership fee. In the hot month of August, we would be delighted if you would come to the Kakiden Gallery to cool off. |
