我家の庭に20個近くのスイカが育っている。 5月の連休明けから苗を植え、6月半ばから 花が咲き、実を付け始める。 それを待って、私達は庭に出て実を眺め、触りまくり、成長を一日一日確認し合い一喜 一憂する。 それから、45日にして食する、これが実に美味しく幸せ感で一杯になります。 このような、日常の生活から、私達の作品が生まれてくるのです。 森羅万象、私達も生かされていると感じております。

| Biography Biography | Yasuyoshi Sugiura's Ceramic Artist Profile Completed graduate studies in ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1975. 2006: Ceramic Botanical Garden in Musee Tomo (Kikuchi Kanji Memorial Tomo Museum) 2007: Received the 14th Japan Contemporary Art Promotion Award (Japan Foundation for Culture and Arts) Yuko Sugiura's Ceramic Works Completed graduate studies in ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1972. 2005: Received the Encouragement Award at the 1st Kikuchi Biennale (Kikuchi Kanji Memorial Chishin Museum) Selected for the 19th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition in 2007. |
