| Introduction Introduction |
"Regardless of school of thought, we ask questions about the present." As the third collaboration project between Isetan Shinjuku Store and Kakiden Gallery, we will be holding the tea ceremony pottery exhibition "Isetan Contemporary Tea Ceremony Exhibition - Regardless of School, Questioning the Present -" supervised by Mr. Haruzo Hayashiya.
The Japanese tableware section on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku store will be reopening after renovations starting March 4th (Wednesday), and this exhibition is being held as the inaugural event.
The exhibiting artists are 18 people, ranging from veterans to young talents, selected by Professor Hayashiya, and each will be showcasing their recent works of tea ceremony utensils. The venue is not the Kakiden Gallery, but the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. As mentioned above, we are planning to offer tea, and I will also be at the Isetan Shinjuku store, the venue, on the 8th (Sun), 14th (Sat), and 15th (Sun), so I would be delighted if you could come and see us.
