Introduction
Introduction

Celadon represents a clear sky, while Tenmoku represents the night sky.

When I worked with celadon, I could see the color of the night sky. Not complete darkness, but a world of blue-black light.

The work of layering clay and glaze. Celadon and Tenmoku share the same sky.

I want to do work that will make the potters of yesteryear smile.

I would be grateful if you could take a look and offer your guidance.

Takeshi Imaizumi

Mr. Imaizumi is a handsome, sincere, and earnest ceramic artist.

This solo exhibition, the third in two years, will feature not only his signature celadon pieces, but also a tea bowl in the Tenmoku style with a beautiful interior design.

When I first saw this new tea bowl, I was deeply moved by its beauty, especially how the vibrant green of the matcha tea stood out against it.

However, it's difficult to capture the beauty of these colors in photographs, so we would be delighted if you could come to our gallery and see them in person.

Ms. Imaizumi, who has a lovely, gentle smile, will also be at the venue every day. We look forward to seeing you there.
