| Introduction Introduction |
Kuwata is active as one of the leading writers of his generation in their thirties. We met a few years ago and had many discussions about making tea bowls. Since then, he has always attended my tea ceremonies, carefully observing the various tea bowls used there, and deepening his own understanding of tea bowls. His sincere character will undoubtedly lead to the creation of many more masterpieces of modern tea ceremony. Being young, they are trying out various forms of expression, but that's something that concerns me a little. Haruzo Hayashiya |
