As a result of our technological development, our approach has gradually shifted from the transparent watercolor style we were working with previously, expanding to include more freedom in opaque watercolors and mural-like expressions. I'm exploring various options for how to proceed, but for now, I'm enjoying the possibilities. I've titled this solo exhibition "Ceramic Painting Exhibition." | Biography Biography | Born in Tokyo in 1950. 1976: Completed graduate studies in ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1980, I moved from Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture to Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Independent artist. Has held numerous solo exhibitions (at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Umeda Hankyu, Wako, Kando-ri, Fujinoya, etc.). |
