The Golden Week holidays will be followed by the " Aki Tachibana Exhibition." Ms. Tachibana is still young, in her mid-30s, but she paints some very captivating abstract works. The motif is her own inner world. I, being inexperienced, cannot express my own inner world, but Ms. Tachibana skillfully expresses it through her paints. I believe the world of the tea ceremony is a place where one can feel one's own inner world and quietly confront oneself. As I gazed intently at Tachibana's works, I felt as if I was beginning to understand a little bit where my own feelings are headed at this moment. This solo exhibition will feature approximately 60 works ranging in size from No. 8 (approximately 45cm x 30cm) to No. 30 (approximately 90cm x 70cm). | Biography Biography | Born in Kumihama-cho, Kyoto Prefecture in 1979, raised in Saitama Prefecture.
